I've known Newgrounds for some time now, and though I may not log on every day, I will support NG and great work that comes from it. (unless it stinks) I won't give submissions anything less than a two unless I find it offensive.

It has come to my attention that the youth of the nation, no, the world is steadily having it's brains turned to mush by television, video games, drugs, ...Newgrounds (don't hurt me). The 'intelligence' contained within the heads of so many (myself included) without connection and communication amounts up to no more than useless data. Therefore I feel that, in any small way possible, I must try and activate the latent minds of the masses.
Submitted for your consideration: The ability to percieve.
The year is 1XXX (I don't know the exact date). The place is a small Indian tribe on the North American coast. The people go about their business with no idea that only a few hundred yard of the shore, within perfectly observable distance sits a fleet of European ships. Why did the natives have no idea these ships where there? Because it was beyond their comprehension. They cound not concieve or understand the concept of such massive and complex constructs, so to their awareness, it didn't exist.
The village elders, however, began noticing stange ripples in the water, as if somthing was in it. With time and concentration, the elders slowly began to see the 'things' that were having such an effect on their surroundings. The elders than told their people of the ships they had seen and, because of the faith and trust the villagers had in their elders, they were able to see the ships as well.
In conclusion; humans are limitided in their ability to percieve because of their inability to comprehend, but by percieving the effects of what we cannot understand on the world around us, we are able to expand our minds, our ability to concieve, and therefore, our ability to percieve.
Please meditate on this for a while. Albert Einstein wasn't that that great of a guy. He simply used his ability to think. I encourage you all to do the same.
